    Detailed De******ion
"The man who doesn't read good books has no advan***e over the man who can't read them" -- Mark Twain

Translated from the Arabic book (La Tahzan) --- A book that is a MUST HAVE for every Muslim adult, and teenagers !

In this era, where psycho-social issues and the unstoppable lifestyle engage a human spirit in a confusing maze, it is very vital to keep the right perspectives and attitudes to lead a normal life. This is especially true not just for Muslim adults but also for Muslim teenagers who are trying to make sense of the world around them and the Islamic values that they are trying to adhere to ! This book provides a breath of fresh air and is therefore one of the most popular books distributed on this site.

This outstanding and excellent motivational book book is by a renowned scholar 'Aaidh ibn Abdullah al-Qarni. It is packed with very relevant Quranic verses and Ahadeeth to uplift a human spirit.

This is one of the very few books that the publisher decided to translate primarily because that the Arabic version became extremely popular. Another reason is that although this book was written from an Islamic perspective, the ideas and philosophies presented can be equally appreciated by non-Muslims as well.

The author enumerates many stories from history and highlights the lesson learned not just from the life of the prophet Muhammed (SAWS), the last prophet of Islam, but also from the lives of other renowned non-Muslim personalities such as Napoleon, Emerson and others.

For example, the author quotes a western thinker who said that "It is most possible for you while you are behind steel bars to look out upon the horizon
and to smell roses. It is also extremely plausible to be in a castle replete with opulence and comfort, and yet be angry and discontented with your family and wealth.

In a beautiful style, the author reminds us that when we are content with that which Allah has given us, we will be the richest of people.

The author cites the example of certain great Islamic scholars who were not rich with the wealth of material world, yet they lived very peaceful lives. One the other hand, there were rulers in the same era who although lived in castles, but their lives were in turmoil and were filled with anxiety and in worry.

The book reminds the reader that sadness enervates the soul's will to act and paralyzes the body into inactivity. Sadness
prevents one from action instead of compelling one towards it
